FC Peoria is established as a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Illinois. The Internal Revenue Service has recognized that FC Peoria is an educational foundation that meets the requirements for tax exemption set forth in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. FC Peoria shall not undertake any activity that is inconsistent with its status as an educational foundation. FC Peoria establishes as its governance body, the Board of Directors, to provide the guidance to ensure the mission, quality, continuity and stability of FC Peoria as the premiere organization of its kind in Central Illinois, to provide training to dedicated youth soccer players, with special emphasis on sportsmanship and playing proficiency.
FC Peoria is a member of the Illinois Youth Soccer Association, the United States Youth Soccer Association, and the United States Soccer Federation
